I am a graduate of Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business with a BA in Marketing. I started my mortgage career in 1997 with Pioneer mortgage and helped grow the company to become Michigan’s 2nd largest mortgage lender at that time behind Quicken Loans/Rocket Mortgage. Pioneer Mortgage was named to the Inc. 500 list in 1999 and 2002 for the fastest growing privately held companies in America.

Pioneer Mortgage was purchased by Sallie Mae, the student loan giant in 2003. I helped grow the mortgage unit, Sallie Mae Home Loans, into a multi-billion dollar Mortgage Lender.

Our Loan Process

1: Pre-Approval

A loan pre-approval sets you up for a smooth home buying experience.

2: Shop

Start working with a real estate agent and viewing homes.

3: Loan Application

A few documents are needed to get a loan file through underwriting.

4: Loan Processing

Assemble all the necessary paperwork and details for the underwriter.

5: Underwriting

They closely evaluate all the documentation in the loan package.

6: Closing

Documents are drawn and sent to the title company for closing.
